Manchester Airport's 'worst' terminal is finally getting the TLC it deserves'

Manchester Airport has confirmed a multi-million-pound revamp of Terminal 3, giving the facility the upgrades passengers have long called for. On Friday, October 23, the airport said the expansion project—adding more than a third in capacity—has received the green light. The plan will bring additional passenger space, more natural light, and new retail units. One new addition, Terracotta, an Italian restaurant, is scheduled to open in November. The full renovation is set to be complete by 2028, with a phased opening. Earlier in the year, Sporting Chance opened as a 470-seat sports bar with 69 TVs and views of the airfield.
