Mariners prospects Kade Anderson and Ryan Sloan selected for All-Star Futures Game
Mariners prospects Kade Anderson and Ryan Sloan selected for the 2026 All-Star Futures Game, after dominating hitters at the Double-A level in the first half of the minor league season. Anderson, 21, was chosen as the Mariners’ top left-handed pitching prospect and ranks No. 6 overall on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 and No. 8 on Baseball America’s list. Drafted in the 2025 second round out of LSU, he has gone 8-0 in 13 starts for Double-A Arkansas with a 1.22 ERA, 99 strikeouts in 66.2 innings, and a 0.71 WHIP. Sloan, 20, a right-handed prospect rated highly by Baseball America and MLB Pipeline, posted a 2-2 record with a 4.11 ERA for Arkansas. The Futures Game is set for Sunday, July 12 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, with first pitch at 9 a.m. PT and NBC coverage.
