MND Local BCS: PGA golf and Day of the Dead celebrations in Los Cabos

For the first time, PGA Tour events in Mexico are scheduled back-to-back on the FedExCup Fall schedule. Last week’s 2026 VidantaWorld Mexico Open in Nuevo Nayarit—played on the Greg Norman-designed Vidanta Vallarta Course—ended with Andrew Novak winning by five shots after daily Golf Channel coverage. This week, the Tour shifts to Los Cabos for the World Wide Technology Championship (WWTC) Thursday through Sunday at Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal at Diamante. Featured players include defending champion Ben Griffin, Lucas Glover, and rookie Jackson Koivun. Dates are Nov. 5–8. General admission starts at $35, with VIP upgrades. Separately, “Altars at Sea” returns Nov. 1–4 in Cabo San Lucas Bay, with Day of the Dead-themed boat celebrations, free entry, and panels such as “mermaids.”
