More than 100,000 swing seats recalled after reports of falls, injuries

More than 100,000 swing seats sold on Amazon have been recalled after reports that the seats can break and pose a fall risk. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says PACEARTH Direct recalled the swing seats after determining that the seats, metal carabiners and webbing straps may fail during use. The products were sold in multiple colors, including green, blue, pink, red and turquoise, with chains coated in yellow plastic. CPSC reports at least 30 falls resulting in nine injuries, including fractures, head injuries and bruises. Purchasers are told to stop using the seats and contact PACEARTH Direct for a refund.
