Moses Kuria: State projects in Ol Kalou will continue despite defeat
Moses Kuria says state projects in Ol Kalou will continue even after the ruling UDA candidate’s defeat in last week’s by-election. The former Cabinet Secretary and presidential adviser told residents the outcome will not affect work already underway, stressing that development should not be tied to political competition. Kuria said he spoke with newly elected MP Kamau Ngotho after the vote to congratulate him and assure government commitment to completing planned projects. He cited continued progress on Nyandarua University and road works including the Ithagani-Nyaituga-Ngorika-Kanyiriti tarmac route and the Lake Ol Bolosat access road. Kuria added that the Nairobi-Gilgil-Ol Kalou-Nyahururu rail line will maintain services on Tuesdays and Fridays, 36 rural electrification projects will be completed, and water, clean cooking LPG refills via National Oil Company of Kenya outlets, and multiple agricultural and Blue Economy initiatives will proceed.
