Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/26/26

Memorial Day weekend offered mixed results for Delmarva anglers, with light winds but 6-foot seas and a small-craft advisory at sea. Lewes Harbour Marina reported boats that ventured into the Delaware Bay on Sunday evening had success with black drum, several caught on clams. By Monday, no boats left their dock, and Breakwater Tackle at Cape Henlopen noted keepers like flounder near pilings and bluefish on surface lures during the high tide. Old Inlet Bait and Tackle noted blues and striped bass were caught at Indian River Inlet on Monday, with blues on metal and stripers on bucktails.
