Fenit RNLI's all‑weather lifeboat crew was paged at 3:03 am to aid a yacht north of Loop Head, County Clare, after the vessel lost power and steerage. The Irish Coastguard coordinated with Fenit RNLI while MFV Celtic Sun, fishing in the area, also joined the effort. The three people aboard were reported fit and well, and the yacht was towed safely to Fenit Harbour, arriving at about 10:20 am this morning. Six volunteers operated the lifeboat for the rescue, underscoring the efficiency of Ireland’s coastal rescue network.
