NFP and Suntex Marinas partner on marine insurance

Suntex Marinas is expanding its customer offering by partnering with NFP to launch a dedicated boat and yacht insurance programme. The program will be exclusively brokered by NFP and employs a multi-carrier model to give customers a single access point to coverage. Suntex operates more than 100 marina properties nationwide, and the rollout will unfold in phases across its network. The initiative links boat owners with specialist marine insurance professionals through a fully integrated quoting and service platform. The plan aims to simplify insurance buying and claims by delivering coverage tailored to vessel type and usage, with live specialist support. Customers will have access to multiple specialist marine insurers via the platform, helping ensure value and long-term protection. The program will be embedded on Suntex marina websites, digital channels, and on-site touchpoints to deliver a consistent coast-to-coast experience. This national rollout is designed to evolve into a core component of Suntex’s insurance delivery over time. Suntex vice president of brand and marketing Bert Fowles said the partnership would improve the customer experience at every stage of the boat insurance process. NFP yacht practice leader Tom Gresh noted that the collaboration leverages deep marina and marine expertise to deliver more informed risk-management solutions. The arrangement underscores Suntex’s strategy to modernize its services and could redefine how insurance is accessed by boaters across the 100-plus locations in its network.
