Oregon running back Jordon Davison not expected to play against Ohio State

Oregon running back Jordon Davison is not expected to play this weekend against Ohio State, according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos. Davison is dealing with an injury, and while he currently leads the Ducks with 91 carries for 439 yards and seven rushing touchdowns this season, his absence could significantly affect Oregon’s offense. The team’s head coach, Dan Lanning, said his status report will come out Wednesday, noting it likely isn’t long-term but that the injury report will clarify the situation. Davison was hurt against Northwestern in a 34-26 win, returning to the sideline on crutches and in street clothes.
