xCruzo Brief
Cromer Pier rolled out a red carpet for the debut screening of Crecista, a new film by Rupert Harold, a 19-year-old filmmaker from Cromer in Norfolk. The premiere took place on Tuesday, ahead of the film’s streaming release on Saturday via Amazon Prime. Harold is aiming to become the youngest director to win an Oscar, and said the response has been overwhelming, citing “about 400 people” attending. He also highlighted the spectacle outside the theater, with supercars including a Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls Royce and a Corvette. Crecista is a rags-to-riches story shot across Norfolk, Lake Como, Milan and Naples, reportedly on a £2,000 budget, and includes helicopters, sports cars and a yacht.
