xCruzo Brief
The Muskogee-Davis Regional Airport is hosting its first “Planes and Pumpkins” event on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free program is designed as a trunk-or-treat style experience, but with airplanes and helicopters. Tyler Evans, director of emergency management and community operations for the City of Muskogee, said pilots from Muskogee and surrounding communities will participate. Local partners including the Girl Scouts, United Way and Neighbors Building Neighborhoods are also joining. A civil air patrol group, the Nighthawks Squadron, will sell hot dogs, chips and drinks.
