Qatar Boat Show 2026 opens with dazzling fireworks

The Qatar Boat Show 2026 opened at Old Doha Port with a fireworks and pyro-drone finale over Doha’s waterfront, capping a first day featuring luxury yachts and marine exhibits. The four-day event runs until November 7 under the patronage of Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and opened with visits from senior officials including the Environment and Climate Change minister Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie and the Endowments and Islamic Affairs minister Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanim. Programming included a VIP entrance tour of maritime history, highlighted by the exhibition “A Maritime Legacy and a Gateway to the World.” The day also featured the Qatar debut of Al Shaali Marine’s ASMARATY G77 and an art showcase titled “The Sea in Qatar’s Artistic Memory.”
