Quit fishing': Deion Sanders won't take bait on play of Julian Lewis after QB throws 4 touchdowns

Coach Deion Sanders told onlookers to “quit fishing” when talk turned to anything beyond the play of quarterback Julian “JuJu” Lewis, after Colorado’s 52-21 win over Weber State. Lewis set a school first by throwing four touchdown passes in the opening half, completing 17 of 23 for 366 yards before sitting most of the second half. Sanders said he was looking for confidence-building after the previous week’s game-winning drive versus Georgia Tech. The first-play touchdown came on a 66-yard pass to DeAndre Moore Jr., and Lewis tied Colorado’s mark for four TDs in a half held previously by John Hessler and Cody Hawkins.
