Ravens trade defensive tackle C.J. Okoye to Giants for a draft pick

Baltimore is converting a roster decision into draft value by trading defensive tackle C.J. Okoye to the New York Giants for a 2028 seventh-round pick, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport. The deal brings Okoye back into John Harbaugh’s orbit after Harbaugh left Baltimore following the 2025 season to take over in New York. Okoye’s most recent performance came during Baltimore’s preseason finale versus the Washington Commanders, where the 6-foot-6, 370-pound lineman recovered a fumble as the Ravens finished preseason undefeated. The Nigerian-born Okoye entered the league via the International Player Pathway program, joining the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023.
