Ref's pool report after controversial Lions loss has Packers fans ready to blow a gasket

After the Green Bay Packers’ 20-17 divisional loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, referee Alex Moore faced questions about contentious calls that had Packers fans questioning officiating consistency. ESPN’s Rob Demovsky shared a pool report transcript with Moore following the game. Moore addressed an unnecessary roughness penalty against Devonte Wyatt in the third quarter, explaining that he couldn’t clearly hear whether a whistle sounded before Wyatt tackled Amon-Ra St. Brown again after the play was “over.” Moore also discussed a late intentional grounding penalty on Jordan Love, stating Love was outside the pocket and the pass failed to cross the line of scrimmage. Green Bay turns to a Thursday home game versus the Panthers.
