Reports: Seahawks, DT Leonard Williams agree to $90M extension

Leonard Williams and the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a three-year, $90 million contract extension, with $56 million guaranteed, ESPN reported. The 32-year-old is set to play the final year of his original three-year, $64.5 million deal signed in March 2024. The new terms bring him level with Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea for the fifth-highest annual average pay at his position. Seattle acquired Williams in October 2023 from the New York Giants for second- and fifth-round picks. General manager John Schneider praised him as a “culture fit,” citing his impact in practices. Williams was a 2025 All-Pro (second team) with 7.0 sacks, helping fuel the NFL’s top-ranked defense.
