Rod Stewart's 'Last Rock 'n' Roll Tour' Set Next Year With 'Final Encore'
Rod Stewart confirmed a new set of tour dates branded “The Final Encore,” marking what he described as his last rock ’n’ roll run after suddenly halting shows in 2026 to address a heart issue. In a statement on Monday, Sept. 28, Stewart said next year will be his last tour “ever, ever,” clarifying he isn’t retiring from all performances, but that it will be the final rock ’n’ roll tour. He added dates alongside Howard Jones. Stewart canceled an Aug. 9 concert in Cincinnati after a “minor medical procedure,” later described as routine insertion of a coronary stent. He had also been dealing with earlier cancellations tied to sinus infection and laryngitis, and in June required oxygen after nearly fainting onstage in Utah. The release also listed multiple European stops in 2027, ending with concerts at Denver’s Red Rocks.
