Roman Jones signs 20-year lease for ambitious Miami River resto plans

Miami-based restaurateur Roman Jones is moving ahead with an ambitious Miami River project, signing a 20-year lease for S&L, a steak-and-lobster concept, at 28 and 90 Northwest North River Drive. The former Captain Tom’s Seafood site will hold about 200 seats and is slated to open within three years. The deal includes a projected annual percentage rent north of $1 million. Jones, founder of House Kiki, has expanded along the river with concepts such as Habibi and Kiki on the River, and plans another Italian concept nearby. The Karpowich family owns the property and facilitated the lease.
