Sausalito City Manager Elaine Forbes' despicable behavior inside yacht

Sausalito’s city manager Elaine Forbes, 53, was arrested early Saturday after allegations that she boarded multiple vessels at the marina and was attempting to take a 66-foot yacht, according to ABC7. The owner of the Lisa Marie, Andy Cunningham, said police discovered extensive chaos on board, including clothes allegedly pulled from storage and food and alcohol consumed. Cunningham claimed Forbes drank four bottles of his wine and discarded maraschino cherries into a shoebox, and that clothing was tried on and left in disarray. The incident followed a missing-person report filed for Forbes on Friday by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office. A Sausalito City Council leave of absence had been approved days earlier, and a family spokesperson said Forbes was experiencing a mental health crisis. Forbes remains in custody at the Marin County Jail and is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday morning.
