Seahawks' highlight of game vs. Bears: Star duo's huge TD connection

Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba produced the defining moment for the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night, connecting for a 43-yard touchdown against the Chicago Bears in Week 8. With 30 seconds left in the second quarter, Darnold threw a high-arcing pass that landed perfectly in Smith-Njigba’s hands. Smith-Njigba then converted the play after a double move, forcing Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson to bite and trail, before walking into the end zone for Seattle’s first touchdown of the game and a spark before halftime. Smith-Njigba finished with six receptions for 118 yards and that was his only score. Darnold logged 188 passing yards, two touchdown passes and one interception, but the Seahawks lost 34-17 at Lumen Field.
