xCruzo Brief
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport jumped from No. 17 to No. 11 in J.D. Power’s customer satisfaction survey, moving to “most improved” among 20 U.S. mega airports. Released Wednesday, the survey covered experiences between July 2025 and July 2026 from nearly 25,000 U.S. and Canadian residents. Minneapolis–Saint Paul ranked highest in the mega category, followed by Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County. In “large” airports, Portland International Airport placed second, praised for its new main terminal with a 9-acre undulating wooden roof made of Douglas fir. The Seattle airport has invested $5.5 billion, including a $399 million C Concourse expansion completed in June and a $546 million north main terminal renovation earlier this year.
