Smart glasses recalled after posing burn risk

INMO International has issued a recall for 1,643 pairs of INMO AIR3 smart glasses after receiving reports of overheating during extended use, which may create a severe injury or burn hazard. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the company has received 10 reports, including accounts of a burning sensation on the face and the left side of the ear. The recall covers INMO AIR3 Smart Glasses used for AI translation, AI-assisted productivity, and media streaming. The black glasses have “AIR3” and “INMO” printed on a label on the right side. They were sold on Amazon.com, Inmoxr.com, and Kickstarter.com from December 2025 through August 2026 for $900 to $1,300. Consumers should stop using the glasses and contact INMO for a free repair and system update to the latest online version.
