Swings sold nationwide on Amazon recalled after dozens of injuries: 'Stop using'
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled Harkla children’s compression sensory swings sold across the country after dozens of reported failures caused serious injuries. The hazard involves a faulty ceiling hook that can detach from its mounting plate, creating a risk of serious injury from a fall. The company has received 29 reports of the hook separating, leading to 14 injuries, including a broken arm and two concussions, along with bruises and bumps. The recall covers only models with a four-hole ceiling hook, identified by SKU numbers LS-COMP-1BLU or LS-COMP-1BLU-SW on packaging. About 25,541 units were sold in the U.S. and 5,534 in Canada from March 2020 to December 2025, with online sales via Amazon.com and Harkla.co.
