Leica’s SL3-P is positioned as the “Goldilocks” option between the SL3 and SL3-S, offering upgraded specifications without the flagship price. The camera uses a 44-megapixel full-frame sensor and supports up to 40 frames per second raw shooting, with phase-detection autofocus and subject tracking. For video, it adds 8K open-gate recording and Apple ProRes codec support. In the UK, the SL3-P costs £5,150, compared with £4,500 for the SL3-S and £5,920 for the SL3; the article estimates the UK price at roughly $8,090, while U.S. pricing was not available at the time.
