Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Cincinnati Bearcats Live Score and Stats - October 24, 2026 Gametracker - CBS Sports

No. 8 Texas Tech (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) visits Cincinnati on Saturday amid lingering tension that stems from the offseason transfer saga involving quarterback Brendan Sorsby. Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire said his focus is going “1-0” each week, after Cincinnati coach Scott Satterfield alleged tampering by contacting Sorsby before the season ended. The situation became moot when the NCAA permanently banned Sorsby in May for gambling violations, though Sorsby and Texas Tech had briefly obtained an injunction in Texas. Texas Tech enters after routing Arizona State 53-25, scoring a season-high in points and 502 yards. Cincinnati (4-2, 1-2) is coming off a 45-42 loss to West Virginia and has allowed 1,120 yards in its last two games. Defensively, the Bearcats have conceded 45.7% on third downs this season, and Saturday pits Cincinnati’s rushing attack (231.2 yards per game) against Texas Tech’s run defense (82.0 allowed per game).
