Three injured boaters rescued near Golden Gate Bridge

Three people were injured after a fishing boat hit rocks near the Golden Gate Bridge on Thursday morning, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. Multiple agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard and fire departments from both the San Francisco and Marin County sides, responded at 6:10 a.m. to a 25-foot vessel in distress. Crews determined the crash occurred on the Marin County side of the bridge. Personnel from a San Francisco Police Department Marine Unit rescued the three individuals and brought them to the north shoreline, where they received paramedic care. The severity of the injuries was not immediately known. San Francisco units cleared the scene by 7 a.m.
