Three teether recalls in two weeks lead a fresh wave of baby and child product warnings
A recall-focused TikTok roundup is drawing attention to a new cluster of safety warnings for children’s products over a short period. The latest notice highlighted more than 70,000 Go Po pull-string teether toys after reports that their strings could extend far enough to reach a child’s throat, creating a choking hazard. The creator, Cait (@recallmom), said it was the third recall of a similar toy type in two weeks, a concern echoed in comments. The roundup also referenced other recalls including CuckooBaby loungers tied to multiple sleep-safety violations such as suffocation, entrapment, and fall risks, as well as a Jewels Air 2 car seat adapter that can come loose from a stroller. It also cited a babydoll and stroller toy set with choking risks, and children’s pajamas sold on Shein for failing federal flammability standards. The creator urged checking the CPSC website to confirm whether specific items are affected.
