USS Abraham Lincoln docks in Thailand after more than 9 months at sea

The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier docked in Laem Chabang, Thailand, on Wednesday after more than 250 days at sea supporting the U.S. war against Iran. With about 5,000 service members aboard, the ship made its way into the port in Chonburi province shortly after the destroyer USS Frank E. Petersen Jr. passed the area. The deployment included a record-setting uninterrupted time at sea. Concerns have surfaced about the length following reports of deteriorating mental health among the crew and shortages of supplies, including food and hygiene items. The Lincoln marked its first full port stop after 286 days, with the destroyer and other ships docking nearby as well.
