Verstappen claims F1 paddock 'less stressful' without Horner
Max Verstappen said the Formula 1 paddock is “less stressful” after Christian Horner’s exit, arguing it’s “not nice” when tension constantly builds between people. Horner’s potential return remains a major storyline, though Verstappen noted he does not see it as necessary to reignite interest because the paddock is already intense. In interviews, Horner has hinted at “unfinished business” and a “dream” to lead Ferrari, which prompted Ferrari to reaffirm “full confidence” in team principal Fred Vasseur. Verstappen added that rumors are circulating but that it’s not his concern. He also discussed committing to Red Bull with a new contract for four more years, following his 72nd win in Malaysia, and said he wants to reassess later whether he can commit fully before spending more time at home.
