West Maui Sports & Fishing Supply returns home to Lahaina with Grand Opening, June 27

West Maui Sports & Fishing Supply is bringing its flagship back to Lahaina with a grand opening on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Lahaina Cannery, 1191 Honoapiʻilani Highway, Suite 101. The day-long event invites the public, with store hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A blessing is scheduled for 10 a.m., preceded by a Morning Cast at Māla Wharf from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Owners Lopaka and Katie Wilson bought the business in 2022, about 18 months before the Aug. 8, 2023 wildfire destroyed their Front Street location. After pivoting to keep operations running via pop-up shops across Hawaiʻi and a temporary base at Kāʻanapali Shores, they were honored with the Mayor’s Small Business Award in 2024. The reopening underscores Lahaina’s recovery and the return of a long-running marine and fishing retailer.
