What could a new marina look like? Share input on design July 21

Plans for a potential new marina are moving into a community feedback phase, with a design input session scheduled for July 21. The event, originally planned for mid-March and later shifted to the summer, will take place at 6 p.m. at the Kiwanis Park Fieldhouse in Sheboygan. Residents will be able to review marina design concepts prepared by Edgewater Resources, which is completing design work and facilitating construction for the first phase of the Waterfront and Marina Master Plan. The proposal includes a new marina administration and fuel services building, along with docks, parking lots and driveways. It also covers a planned 12,000-square-foot restaurant/events building, after receiving mixed feedback. Edgewater previously said it is not planning floating docks near the marina. The existing marina building would be inspected for mold and structural issues and could be demolished.
