When Refreshed 2027 Chevy Trailblazer Production Will Start

Chevy says regular production of the refreshed 2027 Trailblazer is scheduled to begin January 2, 2027, though the date is tentative and could shift before assembly starts. The timing comes after the 2027 model year had an unusually short run. The current Trailblazer has been in production since its 2021 debut and received a mid-cycle refresh for 2024. The 2027 update adds a more substantial overhaul, including updated safety and infotainment tech and the Activ trim being replaced by the first-ever Trailblazer Z71. The refreshed model, built at GM’s Bupyeong plant in South Korea, uses the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T. The refreshed 2027 should reach dealers in early 2027.
