Worries grow as man, 77, is reported missing

Thames Valley Police has appealed for help to find 77-year-old Steven, also known as Jake, who was reported missing on Monday, July 20. Officers asked the public to come forward with any information about his whereabouts and noted that Steven, from Reading, has connections to Newbury and Wash Common. He is described as about 5 ft 5 in tall, slim, and balding with brown hair, usually wearing glasses and hearing aids. Police said he was last seen wearing dark-coloured trousers, a dark-coloured V-neck jumper, and dark-coloured trainers with white soles, and they released a CCTV image showing those clothes. Authorities believe he may have access to a red Ford Fiesta and urged anyone who has seen Steven or the vehicle to contact them. In a public appeal, they asked people to remain vigilant and report sightings as soon as possible, including calling 999 if he is spotted.
