Adam Siao Him Fa opens Grand Prix figure skating season with dominant win in France

Adam Siao Him Fa kicked off the figure skating season—and the 2030 Alps Olympic cycle—with a dominant win at Grand Prix France, his home event, for the fourth time. He led by 16.97 points after Saturday’s short program, then added three quadruple jumps in Sunday’s free skate. Siao Him Fa finished with 284.24 points, winning by 36.28 over Japan’s Kao Miura, who rose from ninth. Mikhail Shaidorov, the Kazakhstan skater who won Olympic gold, placed 10th after one fall in the short and two in the free. The Grand Prix continues with Skate Canada in Angers this weekend.
