Amazon Cargo Jet Skids Off Runway, Stops Feet From Parked Tesla Cybercabs

An Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767 cargo jet overran a runway at Miami International Airport on Sept. 6, breaking through perimeter fencing and striking vehicles on a public road nearby, killing at least five people and injuring five more. The aircraft, operated by 21 Air for Amazon, came to rest tipped forward in a parking area beyond the runway after plowing through cars. Investigators from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are determining why the jet failed to stop. Photos from the scene show Tesla Cybercab prototypes parked near the overrun path, reportedly not struck. The flight arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
