Amboy Food Truck Monday to feature country music performer June 15

Amboy's Food Truck Monday will feature country music performer June 15, expanding the event with live entertainment. The gathering runs 4 to 8 p.m. in the Amboy Depot Museum parking lot. Kristin Toon, a South Beloit native, sings and plays guitar, performing her own songs alongside covers of country hits from artists like Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Avril Lavigne, Jake Owen and Brooks & Dunn. Toon taught herself guitar at 15 and sang in school and church choirs; she also writes songs about relationships and life experiences. The evening combines a variety of food trucks with live music for attendees.
