Arrests after biker dies in four-vehicle crash near Hook
Two drivers were arrested after a motorcyclist was killed in a four-vehicle crash near Hook, Hampshire. The crash occurred on the A287 Farnham Road near Crondall at about 19:40 BST on Saturday and involved two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, a BMW X3, and an LDV Maxus campervan. Hampshire Police said a man in his 50s from Thames Ditton, Surrey, died at the scene, while a man in his 30s from Farnham was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and drug driving. The campervan driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and causing death by dangerous driving. Both drivers were released under investigation pending further inquiries. Police are seeking witnesses and any dash-cam footage, including views before the collision.
