Brian Flynn Named President of Sonoma Raceway

Brian Flynn has been promoted to president of Sonoma Raceway after more than three years leading the business performance of Northern California’s largest motorsports facility. The promotion, announced Monday by Speedway Motorsports CEO and president Marcus Smith, moves Flynn up from executive vice president and general manager. Under Flynn, Sonoma Raceway expanded its event calendar and reputation as a race, tourism and corporate-event destination in California’s wine country, hosting major events including the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series, Ferrari Challenge North America, DENSO NHRA Nationals and the Velocity Invitational. Sonoma Raceway received the Speedway Motorsports Acceleration Award for two consecutive years. Flynn joined in 2023 after consulting since 2020.
