British Grand Prix: The LEGO F1 drivers' parade is back
The LEGO drivers’ parade is returning to the British Grand Prix after a memorable version around last year’s 2025 Miami Grand Prix. The format features 22 miniature, single-seater-style LEGO cars on the grid, with one for each driver. LEGO says each vehicle is built from more than 28,000 bricks, can reach speeds up to 25 kilometers per hour, and weighs about 280 kilograms, including 65 kilograms of bricks. The cars use standard go-kart wheels and were created by 20 specialists, with the full set requiring over 6,400 combined build hours. F1’s Commercial Officer Emily Prazer and LEGO’s Julia Goldin said the 2.0 update responds to fan and driver interest, aiming to deliver a bigger, more engaging spectacle. The parade will occur at Silverstone this week during the British Grand Prix.
