Chevy dealer inventory stayed largely steady in May 2026, with Chevrolet reporting a 72-day supply of new vehicles on lots. The figure matched the 72 days recorded in April 2026, while rising from 65 days in May 2025. Chevrolet’s availability also sat below the U.S. industry average of 76 days, positioned between Kia at 70 days and Subaru at 73 days, according to Cox Automotive data from vAuto Live Market View. Model-by-model, Chevy EV supply declined gradually, while available inventory for the C8 Corvette fell faster. On the pickup and SUV side, supply increased for the Silverado 1500, as well as for the Tahoe and Suburban. Across the market, total new-vehicle inventory reached 2.89 million units in May, up slightly from 2.86 million in April, and 13% higher year over year.
