Citi Revamps AAdvantage Executive Mastercard With New Benefits -- Here's What Changed

Citi, American Airlines and Mastercard are overhauling the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Legend Mastercard, replacing the prior AAdvantage Executive World Elite version. The enhanced card launches Aug. 23 and is positioned as delivering up to $2,300 in value, including a free hotel night stay subject to extra requirements, up to $500 in eligible American Airlines Vacations purchases, and up to $180 in Lyft credits with a monthly ride threshold. It also adds up to $100 in annual credits on inflight and Admirals Club purchases and 12X miles on eligible car rentals and hotels booked through specified AAdvantage sites. The annual fee rises to $695, up from $595, and authorized users pay $175; card terms note fee-change timing based on when existing customers opened the account.
