Cupra Raval and ID. Polo enter production in Spain

Production has begun at the Martorell plant for the Cupra Raval and the Volkswagen ID. Polo, marking a milestone for Volkswagen Group's Electric Urban Car Family. The project will eventually cover four fully electric models across three brands, built on a shared platform to reduce production complexity and costs. Seat & Cupra leads on behalf of Brand Group Core, with the Martorell facility transformed to accommodate electric, hybrid and combustion-engine vehicles. The ID. Polo is the fully electric Polo variant with a WLTP range up to 454 km and features such as connected travel assist, one-pedal driving and vehicle-to-load. Cupra Raval, on the MEB+ platform, is due in summer 2026 in three editions with about 450 km.
