Dodge Is Giving Law Enforcement The Police Car Ford Refuses To Build

Dodge brought a Charger pursuit prototype to the Police Fleet Expo in Daytona Beach, pitching what it’s calling the Charger PPV as an option for law enforcement—one aimed at customers who want Dodge “black and white” patrol capability. The concept was displayed in the Stellantis Law booth with features described as thorough, including a center console from fleet supplier Havis, a full divider behind the front seats, and a partition separating the rear seat from the large cargo area of the hatch layout. Outside, the car uses a light bar and patrol graphics, with no push bar yet. Stellantis says the event was to show its current public safety lineup, including the Durango Pursuit and Ram 2500.
