Donald Trump has teased the Freedom 250 DC Grand Prix, using a new social-media video to build momentum for the street race in Washington, D.C. The president posted a minute-long clip on Truth Social on Wednesday, showing IndyCar drivers racing with views of the National Mall and landmarks including the U.S. Capitol and Washington Monument. Trump captioned it “FREEDOM 250 GRAND PRIX,” and previously hosted IndyCar drivers at the White House to promote the event tied to America’s 250th anniversary. He said it will be among the most unforgettable racing events worldwide. The Freedom 250 Grand Prix is scheduled for August 22 and 23.
