Dozen Can’t-Miss Honda Racers Are Headed to Monterey
Honda is bringing a large lineup of historic racers to Monterey Car Week, tied to this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion theme, “Salute to Japanese Motorsports: A Tradition of Precision & Heritage.” The event period runs August 12–16, with Honda and Acura machines featured across Hagerty-backed Motorlux, The Quail, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The program includes at least 27 cars and motorcycles, sourced from Honda’s Motegi museum, the American Honda Collection Hall, race partners, and private owners. Honda says the displays reflect eight decades of competition, spanning series including Formula 1, IndyCar, IMSA, MotoGP, Dakar, MotoGP, and the Isle of Man TT. David Salters, president of Honda Racing Corporation USA, notes Honda’s belief in competition as an engineering driver.
