xCruzo Brief
Dreyer & Reinbold Racing (DRR) announced Conor Daly as the driver for its first full-time return to IndyCar in 2027. Daly will pilot the No. 24 car for DRR, with the team partnering with Honda after using Chevrolet engines since the middle of the 2012 season. The deal brings Daly back to IndyCar full-time after he did not have a ride in 2026. The 34-year-old at the time of the announcement—turning 35 in December—finished 18th in the 2025 championship with Juncos Hollinger Racing. In Indy 2026 he drove for DRR, finishing 12th, and took 10th at the 2024 Indy 500.
