Drivers Parade Replaced by 22 Rare Dutch Supercars for Zandvoort Farewell

For the Dutch GP farewell at Zandvoort, the usual Drivers’ Parade procession truck was replaced by 22 rare Dutch-built sports cars: Spykers. All 22 drivers rode around the 4.259-kilometer circuit in Spykers, with the Dutch Grand Prix posting photos on X showing drivers seated above open cabins. Organizers assembled the cars at the track a day earlier, offering a clearer look at the collection. Spyker’s heritage dates back to 1880, though the modern lineup is best known for the C8 family. A 2006 Spyker C8 Laviolette recently sold for $670,000, and Spyker has an F1 link through its 2007 stint after buying Midland—later becoming Force India and now tied to Aston Martin.
