EQS-News: Porsche delivers 122,306 sports cars in the first half of the year
Porsche’s first-half delivery performance shows how the 911 and Cayenne lines are sustaining demand, even as overall volumes declined. In a 09.07.2026 release, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG reported 122,306 sports cars delivered to customers in the first half of 2026, down 16% from 146,391 a year earlier. Porsche attributed part of the drop to the end of production of the combustion 718 and to the expiration of U.S. tax incentives for electric and hybrid vehicles. The 911 remained highly sought-after, with deliveries up 19%. The Cayenne led as the strongest model line with 38,141 deliveries, and customer deliveries of the Cayenne Electric began at the end of June. North America was the largest region at 37,712 vehicles, down about 13%. In Germany, deliveries fell 6% to 14,938, while Europe ex-Germany declined 14% to 30,278. Porsche cited balanced regional demand and noted new product introductions including the 911 GT3 S/C and the Taycan E-Shift system.
