Excellent & interesting Ford concept cars you may have never seen

Ford’s Heritage Vault reveals a treasure trove of concept cars spanning seven decades, with nearly 2,000 images now accessible and roughly 50 concepts highlighted in a curated sequence. The earliest example, FX-Atmos (1954), experimented with futuristic styling while Ford noted it would not be production-ready or engineered for manufacturing. La Galaxie (1957) followed with a luxury, long-trunk design and forward-looking styling cues, and the Cougar 406 (1962) introduced gullwing doors and a 6.7-litre V8 in a sporting package. The Ghia Selene II (1962) pushed cab-forward design with a rear-mounted engine, while the Allegro (1963) continued the exploration of curved, bold forms.
