Charles Leclerc won for Ferrari, passing Mercedes’s George Russell following Max Verstappen’s crash with four laps remaining. Russell took second, while Lewis Hamilton completed the podium, but Hamilton was later facing investigation over an alleged yellow-flag infringement. Mercedes’s Kimi Antonelli suffered a mechanical failure on lap 41 and finished 16th after a five-second track-limits penalty. The FIA later said the “safety car in” message was sent in error due to a software issue.
